New issue of OJPAS®

The Editorial Board Member of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®), Prof. (Dr.) Russell Franco D’Souza, MD, spoke on ‘Embitterment and Post Traumatic Embitterment Disorder and Productivity’ in the fifth event of the webinar series, “Global Psychiatry: A LAMIC Perspective”. Prof. (Dr.) Russell is the Executive Director and Dean, International Institute of Organisational Psychological Medicine (IIOPM), Australia: USA: UK. The opening remarks was delivered by Kailash Karthik N, IAS, Deputy Commisioner, Kamrup (R), State of Assam, Republic of India. The session was moderated by Uddip Talukdar, MD, Executive Editor of OJPAS®. This webinar series, “Global Psychiatry: A LAMIC Perspective” is an initiative of the Society for Mental Health in LAMIC (SoMHiL), as part of MONON: Assam Cares (https://www.ojpas.com/ojpas-2020-07-27-fulltext.html), in collaboration with ECHO India.

ICD-11 Mental and Behavioural Disorders: Dissociative Disorders

Shyamanta Das, the Editor-in-Chief of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®) has participated in the Internet-Based Field Studies for ICD-11 Mental and Behavioural Disorders as a member of the Global Clinical Practice Network (GCPN) in order to ensure that the next diagnostic manual is clinically useful and accurate in mental health settings around the world.

In the fortnightly Mind Matters column of Horizon, the Friday supplement with The Assam Tribune, titled “Strength-based approach”, the Editor-in-Chief of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®), Shyamanta Das discusses the case study, “Strength-based approach in dealing with severe mental illness” by Febna Moorkath, G Ragesh, and Ameer Hamza, and published in the July-December 2019, Volume 10 Issue 2 of OJPAS®.
