The Editor-in-Chief of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®), Shyamanta Das spoke on ‘Women mental health’ in the 4th Annual Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS)- Uttar Pradesh State Branch (UPSB) (Association of Clinical Psychiatry) organised by Center of Excellence (COE), Department of Psychiatry, Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and psychiatrists of Varanasi.

The Editor-in-Chief of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®), Shyamanta Das has been selected as the Editor of the Eastern Journal of Psychiatry, the official publication of the East Zone Indian Psychiatric Society.

The Editor-in-Chief of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®), Shyamanta Das has participated in the virtual orientation on intensive care unit (ICU) mental health manuals batch 1 – for psychiatrists from 30 August to 22 September 2023. These virtual trainings were organised by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Reaching Impact, Saturation, and Epidemic Control (RISE) in collaboration with Community Psychiatric Services, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS).

Shyamanta Das, the Editor-in-Chief of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®) was invited as a guest speaker and resource person in the 22nd Post Graduate Continuing Medical Education Programme, Eastern Zone, held at Burdwan, West Bengal and delivered a talk on “How to formulate a management plan”.

Carlos Campos joins as a Member in the Editorial Board of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®). Carlos is currently a Professor at Lusófona University in Portugal as well as in the Polytechnic University of Porto. Campos got a Master’s in Psychiatry and Mental Health, a PhD in Neuroscience, and is currently focusing his work on the role of interoception and social cognition in psychopathology. He has got a strong publication record as a young researcher (over 35 publications; h-index 17 and is currently leading two funded projects by the Portuguese Science Foundation.
