    Really appreciate the author’s thinking at the intersection of psychology and policymaking. While the problem is real, admission of a person into a category that gives them an advantage on a subjective basis of their appearance is exactly that could compound bullying.

    In fact, I could see a fraction of public intentionally catching the disease (if possible), to help them with their aspirations. Hard pill to swallow.
