The Editor-in-Chief of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®), Shyamanta Das relaunched the Eastern Journal of Psychiatry (2024 | January-June | Volume 24 | Issue 1) after a gap of four years as its new Editor-in-Chief during the inauguration of the East Zone – Indian Psychiatric Society Mid Year Conference 2024 in Guwahati, Assam.

A primer” along with Sujit Sarkhel, the Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Psychiatry, Pankaj Kumar, the Head of the Department (HOD), Department of Psychiatry, All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, and Hiranya Saikia, Senior Lecturer of Biostatistics, Department of Community Medicine, Assam Medical College Hospital, Dibrugarh during East Zone Indian Psychiatric Society – Post Graduate (PG) Continuing Medical Education (CME) 2024 in Hotel Arista Ambition, Guwahati, Assam.
