Novel Innovations in Biomedical Sciences-2019


Marami Baishya, the editorial board member of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®) has been awarded the second best oral award for the paper entitled “Post partum depression and associated risk factors: a descriptive study in tertiary care teaching hospital” in the sub-theme ‘Nursing and Health Care’ of one day National seminar on “Novel Innovations in Biomedical Sciences-2019” (NIBS-2019) organised by NEMCARE Group of Institutions, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam in association with Assam Science & Technology University, Assam Nurses’ Midwives & Health Visitors’ Council, Regional Drug Testing Laboratory & State Drug Testing Laboratory (AYUSH).

Wilson’s disease

The original article, titled “Wilson’s disease: a cognitive neuropsychological perspective” by Doyel Ghosh, Pritha Mukhopadhyay, Prasanta Kumar Roy, and Atanu Biswas, and published in the current issue (January-June 2019, Volume 10 Issue 1) of the Open Journal of Psychiatry & Allied Sciences (OJPAS®) is discussed in the fortnightly Mind Matters column of Shyamanta Das, the Editor-in-Chief of OJPAS®, titled “Wilson’s disease” in Horizon, the Friday supplement of The Assam Tribune.


Pattern of substance use in a drug deaddiction centre in Diphu- NorthEast India-based study” by Atanu Baruah, Shyamanta Das, Arunima Dutta, Ajit Kumar Kakati, Hemanta Sharma, Bornali Das, and Mythili Hazarika, and published in the Journal of Evolution of Medical and Dental Sciences, is now in both PubMed and PubMed Central.
